home for the holidays...

Taking a break looks like this...

 

trips to the city, and baking cookies and watching the snow fall in the back yard and holding brand new babies born conveniently on the day I arrived home...

 

Nothing beats being home. Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas this week! I know I will spending many hours parked in front of this little beauty of a tree next to the fireplace...

 

Oh and have you seen this little polaroid maker application - poladroid? It's been sitting on my desktop for months since I downloaded it and have had no time to play with it..but oh boy! is it fun! Click here to download it and have fun polaroid-ing everything. I'll try to resist turing every photo into a polaroid...but it will be difficult...

hi janet! my home isn't *exactly* chicago... it's the milwaukee area. but my sister lives there, so we hung out there for a bit. i do love it there! I'm only here till the end of the week, and then back to CA. i hope the rest of your vacation in california was fun!
